Background~ Avalon Yuciano left right after finishing Hogwarts to travel. Her favorite spots quickly became the Caribbean and South America where all the cultures thrive and ancient civilizations keep being found. Her character and personality are greatly influenced by what she has learned in South America. For the past two years Argentina has been her home and her life there had grown since she had met other wizards and witches with the same interests as her. Nevertheless when trouble stirred up on one of her excavations between her funder and her group she left. This ultimately brought her back home, to Scotland then to England. Teaching at Hogwarts wasn’t quite what she had in mind but for now it would have to do. Making the best of it she plans to teach her students the fun muggles have and the different ways of their lives…and of course their history and the boring stuff.
Avalon knows that her looks aren’t what you’d call normal or even professional. Her violet eyes, black and purple highlighted hair and the crimson heart she has tattooed on her left temple aren’t what you’d expect from a Muggle Studies Professor and Archeologist. Avalon’s appearance is one that takes time to become accustomed to. However don’t let her looks take away from the fact that she’s a brilliant mind and knows what she is talking about. Her temper is probably her worst trait and with her new job she’s going to have to learn to bite back on her usual quick witted and serpent tongue comments. Although being fluent in three languages does have its advantages.
Present~ Since becoming Hogwarts' Muggle Studies professor three years ago Avalon has married the Deputy Headmaster and Head of the Auror Department, Sirius Black. (After having found out her marriage to one of the Cencio brothers was void.) She's recently born Sirius a son whom they named Aiden Black.
