The way the terms work at Welcome to Hogwarts is that each term consists of five classes. Previously, professors used to have a choice between lecture (Essay) lessons or more student driven lessons. However, we have learned from experience that the student driven lessons do tend to go unfinished.
We no longer require homework to be a part of the classroom experience, though you may assign it if you wish. Homework should be used as a reward when it comes to grading. Meaning, if a student doesn't complete the assignment, it will not count against them.
Your term should look something like this:
Class 1- lecture
Class 2- lecture
Class 3- lecture (optional midterm)
Class 4- lecture
Class 5- lecture (optional final)
