Lord Voldemort Has Risen Again!
Slowly, the deadly Death Eater organization is rising to power, gaining members, and attacking helpless civilians, muggle and magical alike. Under his reign of terror, he has revived some of his most faithful members (Bartemius Crouch Jr. and Bellatrix Lestrange) and is building an army the likes of which the Ministry of Magic has never seen. They have a new plan... but what that new plan is is ever elusive. All the ministry knows is that it somehow involves Harry Potter.
Currently, the Death Eater movement has been largely furthered by Persephone Silverton, long time rival and sister-in-law of Sirius Black. However, it is also no secret that her loyalties to the Dark Lord are questionable, especially after a Death Eater was sent to poison her sister, Gabrielle Nefertiri-Black. After her sister's death, Professor McGonagall, the new Headmistress of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, stunned everyone when she hired Persephone Silverton as the new Head of Slytherin and Arithmancy Professor.
From Chaos Comes Order!
Evil was not all that was revived when the mysteries of the veil were uncovered. In fact, it was Sirius Black who first crawled through, and he quickly assimilated back into the world he'd left behind. Soon to follow him were James Potter, Lily Evans, Remus Lupin, and others that had fallen during the war. It was Sirius Black and James Potter who reinstated the Order of the Phoenix, being among the loudest voices speaking out against the Death Eater threat. With the influence and favor they gained and after many successful battles with the Death Eaters, the public demanded that the Minister of Magic name James Potter as the head of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement with Sirius Black serving as Head of the Auror Department.
However, the two of them knew that without certain footholds, they'd never wage a successful war. They had reason to believe that the Minister of Magic was working for Voldemort and plotted to remove him from power. Yet, it proved to be unnecessary. The Minister was found murdered in his office, and the investigation turned up nothing other than he was clearly killed by a Death Eater. Seizing the opportunity, Sirius Black nominated Remus J. Lupin, who had already made a name for himself with improving relations between Wizards, Werewolves, and Goblins, as the new Minister of Magic. It was a landslide victory.
The last foothold was to get into Hogwarts, and with Minerva McGonagall working as the new Headmaster, it was easy enough getting Sirius Black in as Deputy Headmaster and new Defense Against the Dark Arts Professor. With this, victory was assured, until things suddenly turned against them.
Turning the Tide of War!
The death toll continued to grow, despite the efforts of the newly revamped Ministry of magic. Chaos began to erupt in the streets of London, fear spread, and protesters took to the streets to demand that more be done. This coupled with the rising number of Death Eater attacks, many began to fear that James Potter wasn't even enough to handle the threat. That fear became amplified when suddenly James Potter went missing. It is believed that he was taken by the Death Eaters as a tool to get closer to Harry. Now Sirius Black, the Order, and the Staff at Hogwarts must struggle to retain peace and calm while trying to strike back against those who'd taken so much from them.

The world has been cruel to young Harry Potter. Having lost his parents at the age of one and then finding himself thrust back into a happy family, he now has to face the loss of his father all over again. With the shadow of Lord Voldemort constantly looming over him, he lives in a gilded cage, constructed by those who only wish to keep him safe. Flanked by his constant companions and dearest friends, Hermione Granger and Ronald Weasley, he struggles to deal with the dangers affiliated with being the boy-who-lived while also trying to make it through Potions and his other classes.
