It is the year 2009. Very few years have passed since he who must not be named fell. Even now there are whispers of darkness happening at Hogwarts. Nobody can be sure; however many blame the team of new Professors, and some even point the finger at the Headmaster.
Creatures of all sorts have been caught lurking in the school, and nobody can quite explain how they are getting in. Rumor has it that even the students may rise up and reform Dumbledore's Army. Even now he is still talked about with respect and honour. But that doesn't seem to stop evil from disrespecting his school.
Before and Up To Year 2009
Although the triumphant victory of the famous Harry Potter over Lord Voldemort is no longer written about in the Daily Prophet as news, young witches and wizards a like can still be heard muttering his name every now and again. It's not every day that someone as astounding as that comes along, and defeats the greatest Dark Wizard of all time.
But along with the legacy and many devout friends Mr. Potter left behind, Lord Voldemort had a few Death Eater's to carry on his great name as well.
A few decades later is where Hogwarts has truly gotten it's feet back on the ground. There were no longer any supreme dark forces to protect it's students against, and thus, the magic school re-opened with confidence. Yet some things never change...
Slytherin house continues to send evil glances towards the other students, and professors and care takers cannot help but feel unnerved at the sight, and what has been happening at Hogwarts. Monsters and beasts have some how managed to enter the castle, but definetly not on their own. Some believe that a professor or two might have a hand in helping the creatures into the castle...
The mal practice of dark magic is leaving some scars on it's unready victims now occupying the hospital wing. Although these cases are rare, random, and mostly under control, professors can feel the sting of the past comming back to haunt them, and just because Tom Riddle was now dead, did not mean that his ideas or philosphies died with him.Some would point their fingers at the Slytherins who are causing trouble, but they claim that sort of bravery belongs to the Gryffindors...
In a place where Houses were once so true to their colors, one can't be too certain about who's causing the havoc here at Hogwarts, or if it's even just one individual. One thing is for certain though, if the culprit is not caught soon at Hogwarts, deaths might be happening sooner than one would hope.
Just a side note, the month will move forward once every three months in real time so that you will have plenty of time to reply to and finish any threads that you may have opened. The plot will only get thicker as time goes on so don't worry if not a whole lot seems to be happening at the start of the year.
