So I've been a proud member of this site for two years now. Two years actually don't feel like a very long time, considering everything it has been through since then. By now I have written 2,547 posts (half of which were probably really bad) gotten to know quite a few of you really well and changed my main character's name a total of five times. It's been a rollercoaster ride, actually, however cheesy that may sound.
When I first joined, I was fifteen and did not even know that roleplaying existed. I just googled Harry Potter and found one of those "vote for your site" pages. I joined a few sites, still not quite sure what it was all about.
I understood quickly how roleplaying worked and the whole point of it. I remember that one month later I had quite a few friends already, felt completely comfortable (with a few exceptions) and felt like I had been a member for a year.

I remember...
When I was still afraid of Perse
When I had no idea that Chloesandra and Grabrielle were played by the same person, nevermind the fact that I did not know something like that was possible
When Phelan seemed like the epitome of power to me
When no one had proper graphics and used fairies or cartoon's or self-drawn images as their avatars
When I felt super intelligent for cracking the password for the old Midnight Marauders' getaway
When I was absolutely thrilled when my character got accepted by Phelan, Bella and Lily and when that seemed like the biggest thing ever
When one-liners were the norm
Talking on teamspeak for the first time
Stealing my neighbours internet so I could roleplay and freaking out whenever the internet was slow
When Grehg forgot who I was at least ten times on teamspeak
When I kept changing play by's and was probably getting on everyone's last nerve
When the ^ < V game had over 100 posts, or something like that
When I was so addicted to roleplay that I went to bed at midnight, set my alarm to three am to wake up and roleplay before going to school
When I tried to explain how to roleplay to my friend
When I met Addy <3
When I was made global moderator on my birthday and it felt like the most special birthday ever
Late nights with Hal and Ad
When certain people left the site and other's left just to return again because they couldn't just give up the site
The site layout changing so many times
Eurovision in the cbox
When my character practically grew up on the site, went through some horrible crisis situations and ended up married
When someone (maybe Oliver?) changed the skin and ended up deleting all the threads in Hogsmeade
When I wrote a letter of complaint and ended up gaining respect
When this person joined who created graphics, then got on everyone's nerves so much that he got banned
How that one person's graphics practically caused a graphical revolution on the site
When there were a lot of vampires on the site that disappeared randomly and never returned...
When I would stay up all night in the garden talking on teamspeak and roleplaying because the internet connection was so much better
When people's character's all started getting pregnant
When Valencia went all BAMF
When Hal, Mal and I completely took over the cbox
Quite a few dramatic dramas
When Gabrielle Nefertiri died on the site... it felt like someone actually did die
When watching Avalon and Sirius' relationship was better than any soap opera
When Remus Lupin and Persephone Silverton's relationship suddenly became as interesting
Remus, James and Sirius being hilarious in the cbox
Polly-Olly anyone?
When Hogwarts got attacked by Voldemort like a million times
When Tinsley and I couldn't get over the fact that Voldemort titled one of his more dramatic battles "Shooting Breezes"
That evil guy whose name I forgot that came after every girl on the site to torture/kill them
My character dying at least ten times
The veil in the Department of Mysteries being "unveiled" and every character dying and returning again
Gryffindor Versus Ravenclaw
Fading out... or running a marathon

We've always gone through periods in which the site was inactive. Though these lasted for only a month or a few weeks. I did not think much of it when everyone disappeared in February this year. I figured that everyone would return after some time. Now it's been around four months with pratically half a year of semi-activeness before. So I'm feeling nostaglic, felt like composing a list of memories.

You all probably have different memories, or more altogether. Some of you have been here for more than five years.
