Personality Section
On the first encounter, you will probably recognize Hermina as a studious, very intelligent, quite polite and sadly, very lonely person.
But that is only the scratch of the surface; down below, she is very depressed as a result of her mothers death at her tender age of eight and the pure-blood supremacist view of her father. She tries always to be nice but will fail miserably if someone's mean to her. A bit of a cry-baby because of the depression.
She is not known to joke and when she does it's rarely successful according to her.
She will get really sentimental when offered nougat, especially Viennese, as it was what her late mother made for her in her childhood.
Contrary to her status as a German Countess with some wealth, she is extremely rarely snobbish, arrogant and haughty, or any other things commonly stereotyped with the nobility.
She strives always to be friendly and polite, but that will change dramatically when she's in one of her blueish episodes.
History
Hermina was born to a strange attempt to resemble a family, on the 6th of June. The concoction had resulted from a long-planned marriage between two noble houses of Germany. They parents weren't too happy with the decisions they were forced with, as one of them was a staunch pure-blood supremacist and the other one a muggle-born, an explosive mixture resulting in numerous quarrels, several restraining orders and a lot of unnecessary stuff. So it's a utter miracle that such an marriage actually bore fruit, not once but twice, giving births to Hermina and Wilhelmina von Lohenstein.
Then in her eight year, something happened that shouldn't have, not to a fragile girl like her. Her mother was diagnosed with terminal cancer and died six months later. Hermina - who had bonded quite considerably with her mother - was all but destroyed by sorrow. With the final major hindrance gone, Wenceslaus started cracking down on his daughters for being mere filthy half-bloods, among the methods being forcing them to go to Beauxbatons Academy. These methods had devastating results.
Hermina, being stubborn, distraught and eight and a half, ran away. She contacted her French cousins and moved - under a strict restraining order from the German courts - first to France and then to Britain.
