By leaving the Erised room, Mina had fully intended to go back to bed. But once she stepped out of the door, she heard the others still left in there start discussing again, she promptly leaned back on the door and eavesdropped. The more she heard the more terrified she got. No, he can't be convincing Hermione, he can't. Sighing heavily, she was thinking if she should just barge in there again and stop this silly business. But then, she didn't have that kind of pull on people. Best to get out of here anyway then.
She barely got down a floor when her conscience kicked in. What if they get killed and nobody knows? Wouldn't that be a bit detrimental? Shrugging off the thoughts, she kept on walking towards the Ravenclaw tower, very much tired and longing for her bed. She had begun on the steps but then turned around. Heading down again, she found herself stuck in an obvious dilemma between telling someone and betraying Harry, and not telling and letting him get hurt. Well, what was she supposed to do? Staying here meant letting Harry get killed, going off to a Professor meant losing what little trust Harry had in her. Stuck... "I hate this!" She blurted out and promptly lied back down on the floor and closed her eyes, letting time go and doing nothing...

She was not on rounds, nor was she meeting with McGonagall as she was prone to do these days. She had no reason to be out of her private chambers this late at night other than to do the one thing that she was right at this very moment convincing herself that she was not doing. No. She had not wandered out late at night hoping to catch a glimpse of him. She was just... restless. Unable to sleep. Yes. That was it. After all, she was Persephone Silverton. She was second-in-command of the Death Eaters. She did not resort to silly school girl tactics - nor was she concerned with such frivolous things. Bigger fish to fry... Her plate was too full to be doing what she 'wasn't doing.'
Turning to go down the next flight of stairs, she came to a complete stop. What in the bloody hell was a person doing just lying on the floor like that? Her first thought was that there was an injury. Perhaps she had slipped...! Damn it! Persephone was going to have to get all maternal and actually conjure up the ability to give a crap. Oh. But then the voice carried to her. She sounded fine. Healthy, even, if in terrible spirits. Unfortunately for this child, being distressed did not constitute a good enough reason to be out after curfew.
"Curious as I am," she began, her voice carrying through the empty corridor, "To know what it is that you hate... I am afraid that I'm going to have to bring your self-pity-party to a pitiful end. I would ask why you are out after curfew, but I can't bring myself to think any excuse is adequate." She looked at her robes to figure out which house she claimed as her own. She was still too new to know names. "What is the going rate for students out of their common room after curfew? Fifty? Sixty points? Oh... I'll find out, I'm certain. And then you and I can discuss it all through detention for the next two weeks. Won't that be fun?"

Well, wow. Already caught? Oh very well, now she didn't have to endeavor herself to find someone. She chuckled dryly at what must be the most inappropriate moments to do sarcasm and rose herself to a sitting position, fixing her eyes steadly on the Professor. 'Well, if we're are to jest here, then why not take it to the fullest lengths?' She thought, in normal cases she wouldn't even dare, but now it was a completely different situation. "Oh well, Professor. I'd say two weeks of detention sounds just like the time I'd like. Really, I do. It gives me a break from my life." Sighing, she took a pause, a deep breath and continued: "I guess that no excuses are ever satisfying. Not even the fact that a few people tonight are doing something normal people would consider completely crazy." She said, high pitched tone in place already. Fix Laudon, she had pushed it. Now she would have to go into the full details of it.
She fixed her gaze again on her company, thinking quietly. Fifty, Sixty points? Well Fix. Harry's life is definitely more important than anything else, even her house pride. Self-pity-party? No no no, this wasn't even self-pity, it was bordering on hatred, hatred for her own weak, miserable position. "I figure exchanging pleasantries aren't the point of the day here, so I shall be blunt even if I'm going to be hated more for it. Potter is going out into London right now. From what I've heard he's having some deluded plan on taking on the Death Eaters himself." Wow, Hermina, that was scathing criticism... "He's accompanied by a few people I think." 'Done, Acta est fabula, clap!' She laughed, high and shrilly to herself, she had done it. In the name of saving Harry's poor life she had given him away to this weird looking person in front of her. Or wait, what was it? She was a Professor oh right... "Fatigue most be on its way..." Mina muttered. Blissful exhaustion on its way, taking her to a place where she wouldn't have to care this much... Smiling at the thought, she let her messy mind go for a rest and collapsed back on the floor.

What was it with children these days? They didn't have the proper respect anymore. "Ah... Well if it's a break you need, maybe a longer detention? Or a more selective one. You are a member of the Quidditch team, are you not? I'm sure I can endeavor to assing detentions on your game days... To give you the break you so desire."
So, this student meant to sound wise. No. Some excuses were satifsying. Like when she called a Death Eater to the carpet who had done something inconceivably stupid and she had to force them to answer for it. Sometimes, those excuses were more than satifisying... Almost as satisfying as doling out the punishment had been.
"I see... And that excuses the fact that you have broken the rules yourself? Who are these people you are referring to?"
She rose her eyebrows, obviously not amused. This student's snarkiness was irritating. Were all children this way or just the know-it-alls?
Persephone's heart stopped in her chest. What!? Surely she did not hear that right! She had to go straight to McGonagall now! Unless, of course, Harry could be intercepted. Reigning in her emotions and managing to sound indifferent, she said, "And where is Mr. Potter now?" If he was already in London, the entire staff would have to be woken up. His mother would have to be informed. They'd have to contact the Ministry and the School governors. "Let me guess... Granger and Weasley?" she asked.
She didn't pay attention to her last words. She needed her question answered now. And then she passed out. Persephone could have reached out to catch her, but she didn't... She wasn't sure why. Maybe it was because she was annoyed as hell now. "Wake up!" she demanded, kneeling next to her, shaking her roughly.

There sure was probably no serious need to shake her this much, right? In her honest opinion, her entire world was spinning slowly before her eyes, making her go terribly dizzy. "Aua. [My head.]" came out as an fitting reply. She reached one hand back to rub the back of it. Gravity sure hurt a lot. Gravity... She jerked up violently as the thought of the really serious situation everyone was in hit her, hard, merciless, enough to make her stomach turn circles many times over. "[Oh my god!] I'm sorry Professor, but I was a bit loony back there, haven't slept properly in two weeks." Wow, she sure could handle rapid talking perfectly...
Taking three very deep breaths and calming her nerves down somewhat, she processed the information available to her and started relaying steadily, her English somewhat broken by an German accent she had stressed out. "Yes Professor, I saw Hermione Granger join us while we were at the Mirror of Erised. But I'm not too sure if Mr Weasley had joined them." Pause, then the next part. "I met Harry earlier today at the Mirror, we talked for a bit and he seemed very calm. Then another person came in, I'm not very sure who it was but she was a Gryffindor. Harry's grande rescue plan must've come to his mind when he saw her, or earlier." She deliberately left out her own crying part, as it was of no importance right now. "I started leaving the room once I saw Hermione come in, confident in her ability to stop this madness. But I wasn't too sure of it, judging by where the conversation was going when I left the room. So I... I waited outside and eavesdropped, and... and Harry managed to convince Hermione of coming along. Bei Gott! How did he do that?!" But anyway... "I heard them leaving... and got out of the area... But I didn't even see anyone pass me on their way down to the entrance hall, or the Gryffindor common room. Never mind." She sighed and leaned back down again. "That's about everything Professor. The act is done. Now can I sleep please, Madam?" She didn't care much about the answer, she was already half-sleeping again.

Severus had been close enough to hear the conversation transpire between the student and the newest Head of Slytherin. Head of Slytherin... He couldn't help but feel bitter when he recalled that that was a position that he could no longer claim was his. By all rights, McGonagall should have given it back to him after Gabrielle died. It was only fair, was it not? Or was she still holding grudges about the whole thing about letting Death Eaters into the school to torment and abuse the students despite it being on Dumbledore's posthumous orders? Oh well... He'd get it back eventually. He just had to bide his time. After all... Persephone was a Death Eater... And EVERYBODY knew that. It wouldn't last long.
"Professor Silverton," he said, announcing his presence at last. "I do believe the girl is not going to be of much more use to you. Miss Lohenstein, return to your common room immediately unless you'd like to see your house be reduced to zero points... And before classes have even started. 'Twould be a shame."
Ignoring her now, he turned his attention to Persephone and said, "You will soon get used to Potter's compulsion to act like a fool. Rest assured that, for the most part, his schemes and horribly laid plans often go awry. If it would set your mind at ease, Professor, I shall help you search for him." He prayed he got to be the one who found him. Gryffindor would never be able to catch up to any house by the time he got through with them.

She listened intently, but before she could question further, Severus had appeared. "Wait," she hissed, her anger almost getting the best of her. "How would Potter be getting to London?" Unlike other people in this corridor, she was not yet aware of how he would manage that without walking all the way to Hogsmeade... Which would be easy enough to intercept. "Yes, Miss Lohenstein. You may go to your common room now."
She turned and walked down a few steps to be level with Severus. She rolled her eyes, not bothering to hide her worry from him. He'd have seen right through it anyway. "I certainly wouldn't turn down the help," she said. "Last thing I need is for Potter to mysteriously disappear. I think that might make me look suspicious..."

'Horthy de Nagybanya! Why must Snape always show up at the most inconvenient times?' Hermina nodded quietly towards the two professors present and started to walk away from the scene, preempting Snape's orders. Seriously, there were no need to order her around now, with her bed looking more and more appealing. Then the Professor Silverton called again. Sighing in her mind, she turned around again, looking at her wearily, Mina said: "I have no idea, Professors. Sorry. Goodnight." With that she left, somewhat not amused by Snape's attitude.

Claire was running from the Whomping Willow area all the way to the fifth and sixth floors of Hogwarts. Her plan was to tell Persephone Silverton. She had no idea why she wanted to pick her, but seeing as how known she was, she could have some sort of say and help out Harry the best she could.
Little did she know that Professor Snape was with Professor Silverton as well as a ravenclaw girl. She took in who was all here and shrugged. Two Professors are better than nothing, she told herself and took a couple deep breaths in. "Professors... The Whomping Willow... Harry's there," she said with her small voice. She was still trying to catch air. There were so many stairs and hallways that she had to run just to get to them.

Persephone stared down at the Gryffindor... Again, names weren't something she'd had time to learn yet. More students out passed curfew... But that's not what mattered. "All right. Get back to your common room, Miss Lunette. Professor Snape and I will take care of this." She looked beside her at the surly Potion's Master and then descended the steps with him.
