Kaia owns a wand made of cherrywood, with a unicorn tail hair, core. The length of the wand is nine and three-quarters inches long.

PERSONALITY:
Stubborn: Being the youngest girl, she is accustomed to getting her own way. She has a distinct dislike for new things and once her mind is set on something, it is difficult to get her to re-think. Something that Kaia absolutely despises is following someone else's orders. She tends to do exactly the opposite when told to do something, just because she refuses to listen to anyone but herself and a few select individuals.

Open-minded: Despite being stubborn, Kaia is a very open individual. Though she is slow about accepting change, she embraces another peoples' individuality and finds people who act different fascinating. She tends to be quite accepting of both Wizards and Muggles and finds no apparent difference. She also believes strongly in Elf rights. Kaia often speaks before thinking and likes to be blunt about what she thinks of people, usually without realizing that something she said might be hurtful.

Irrational: When having to choose between mind and heart, Kaia always listens to her heart, completely losing her mind in the process. This is the reason she manages to get into fist fights, falls off of trees and accuses others of impossible things. Her irrational thinking often gets her into trouble and is why she ends up hurting herself or others.

Selfless: Despite having her selfish moments (which can be very prominent) - usually when she is thinking irrationally or is immensely angry- she is selfless. Generally she puts her family or friends before herself, though this can lead to her neglecting her own needs. She often sets herself priorities that go beyond caring about herself, possibly even endangering herself.

Unique: Kaia has certain qualities that make her different from the rest of the crowd. She has a certain "different" air to her which is accentuated mainly by her easy going attitude about mostly everything, including grades and homework. She detests crying completely because she finds it weak and unhelpful. What she loves is painting and music and she can spend hours just sitting outside, rain or shine, just enjoying nature and freedom. Which is why she initially wants to work with muggle and wizarding creatures or have some sort of job where she gets to explore a lot.
Kaia prefers to wear casual, colorful and comfortable (usually paint splattered as well.) What she does not like are preppy girls and boys. She isn't very subtle about that, either.

Flippant: Kaia isn't serious about anything. She is still a child and prefers to act like one as well. She does not care much what other people think of her and prefers to live by her own rules. She's care-free and optimistic most of the time and her playful nature makes her easy to get along with. Some people may find her carelessness and disrespect towards authority irritating and it is not easy to get her to understand that. She just likes to have fun and get the most out of life.

HISTORY:

Kaia grew up happily in Cork, Ireland with her four siblings and mother and father. Her mother is a witch and her father a muggle, so the chances that all children were magical stood at 50:50. Her mother was ecstatic when Keane, her oldest brother, got his acceptance letter to Hogwarts. Being a Ravenclaw alum, she could not have been happier at his placement in house. Kaia did not care all that much, in fact, she showed signs of magical power so late that her family almost deemed her a muggle. But she wasn't after all! When she turned nine, she semi-accidentally got her third grade math teacher stuck to her chair. Only after a couple of Ministry employees arrived, did they manage to un-stick the disheveled woman. She showed signs of interest in art at a very early age and it developed into an obsession as the years passed. She always managed to get into trouble with her older brothers and Briana - the tomboy of the family. She was a great fort leader and pirate captain, giving the fourth grade boys a run for their money and was renown for joining in playground scuffles. While other girls played with barbies, she preferred footballs.

Her life was not teinted with darkness and she carries a happy, if somewhat unrealistic view of the world. She is an optimistic, phlegmatic person. She often puts others before her own needs and feels the need to protect nature and its animals. She also despises any sorts of authority figures and loves challenging him. She never liked the Ministry of Magic, ever since her mother lost her job and had to find a new one. She finds it over controlling and dislikes the 'arses who think they can run everything'. Her intelligence was what got her into Ravenclaw house where she formed a bond with her Quidditch captain quickly. She proved to be adept at Quidditch and found that she felt happiest when up in the air. She loves to paint and spends her free-time (when she isn't causing mayhem, practicing Quidditch or procrastinating on homework) with her art.
