Katie has an elegance, charm and good taste, is naturally kind, very gentle, and is a lover of beauty, harmony (both in music and social living) and the pleasures that these bring. She is extremely athletic and her enthusiasm for Quidditch shows through in her zest for life.
She is able to stand back and look impartially at matters which call for an impartial judgment to be made on them. But Katie does not tolerate argument from anyone who challenges her opinions, for once she has reached a conclusion, its truth seems to them self-evident; and among her faults is an impatience of criticism and a greed for approval. Katherine Grace Bell was born on a very humid day in July. Her family resides in Cardiff Wales. Her mother is a mediwitch and her father is healer at St Mungos.
First Year
Katie Bell started her education at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in 1990. During the Welcoming Feast, Katie was sorted into the house of Gryffindor. She became fast friends with Oliver Wood because of their mutual love of Quidditch.
Second year
Katie joined the Gryffindor Quidditch team the same year, to play the position of Chaser. During her first ever Quidditch match she was hit in the head by a Bludger, but did not sustain any serious injury.
Third year
In her third year at Hogwarts, Katie caught the Mumblemumps and was often seen resting in the hospital wing, complaining that she was bored. She also taught fellow Gryffindor teammate Harry Potter the Full Body-Bind Curse.
