Personality--
Balder has a fluctuating personality. He's normally quiet. He is almost always polite and considerate. He is extremely loyal to his friends. He loves to study and learn all he can. He often has a strategy for anything. He's also laid back and tries to ignore insults that come his way.
On the flip side he can be arrogant and cold. He rarely trusts anyone. He can be rash and impatient. He often gets angry but rarely shows it. But when he does its often dangerous. He makes few friends because he rarely talks and his trust is hard to get. He can get very uptight about somethings , especially when one of his plans starts to fall apart.
He enjoys working on Muggle vehicles because of the challenge. He loves playing Quiddicth. He believes family and honor are the most important things in life.
He also respects his enemies no matter who they are or what they have done. He also tries to respect everyone , somewhat , until they earn greater respect or lose it.
History---
Balder's parents met in Germany but his mother returned to America before he was born. Unable to locate his father his mother Maria raised him by herself until he was about 9 years old. She then met and married Adam Bristow and had Dierdre. Soon after Balder's father showed up. After much arguing Maria allowed Peter Koning , to take their son to Germany to live.
Balder's father lived in a wizards only community , though he had a lot of influence in Muggle politics. There Balder met his brothers who instantly hated him. He also learned how to fly a broom and how to fix cars.
His father and the other parents hired teachers for the local kids rather than ship them off to school so when he turned 11 he began his magical education. He learned every thing from dueling to alchemy , to potions and all the other things wizards learn in school. He quickly excelled in most areas. As a lot of emphisis was placed on dueling he developed a taste and a skill for it.
While most people in the area disliked Muggles Peter Koning was rather fond of them and taught his youngest son to like them as well. Balder's brothers on the other hand hated them and spent much time trying to harass locals. Many a duel was fought , often 2 on 1 , to put a stop to this. One of his teachers told him that he should become an Auror and help stop others who hurt people.
At the age of 15 he moved back with his mother who was now living in England. From there he contenued to learn all he could hoping to become an Auror.
