Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, you've probably heard of it. The most prestigious magical school in all of Europe and arguably the world, it has a millennia of accomplishments in its history, and a mile long list of successful alumni who got their start within its walls.
But it wasn't always this way. No, Rome wasn't built in a day, and neither was Hogwarts. Once it was just a castle, and the four most famous wizards and witches in history were once just dreamers, trying to create a better tomorrow. Taking on fifty or so apprentices at once was not something to do on a whimsy, but those founding four gave it a chance. Needless to say, there were a few mistakes, but what they did at that time paved the way for the Hogwarts we all know and love. And together they made history.
So travel back, long before Albus Dumbledore took up the position as Headmaster. Before Hogwarts, A History. Before wizards even knew what a school was, let alone if they should send their kids there. Before Godric Gryffindor, Helga Hufflepuff, Rowena Ravenclaw, and Salazar Slytherin were household names.
