The dark-stoned hallways of Hogwarts twisted and stretched, webbing out into various branches of the school, a grand, empty place it was. Clean light filtered through the windows as Ebron strolled down the halls, breathing in the ancient yet crisp air the smoothed, aged stones gave off; it reminded him of the smell of dusty, well thumbed old books. It was comforting, and exciting. New and confusing, it was the perfect place for curious eyes, the perfect place for explorers.
Not that Hogwarts didn't have its down sides, no place was perfect, Ebron had learnt bitterly. The place was swelled with pompous people, and not the rich, pureblooded kind like those that littered his home, but those who were 'too smart' or 'too proud'... Those air-headed Ravenclaws and Gryffindors.
But walking alone, for once, feeling the ancient castle under his feet tipped all unnecessary thoughts from Ebron's mind, his stride sure, maybe his location unsure, but what's an adventure without a bit of uncertainty? Walking, each step almost exuding with purpose, Ebron wandered with confidence and grace, maybe even a hint of pride in his gate, but he was still shrouded in childish awe. He wasn't going to leave any stone or broom cupboard uncharted, if only they stopped moving around.

The sun was shining brightly outside and heat was pouring into the fields. Bella would have gone to practice Quidditch, but she decided that her skin shouldn't be any more tanner than what it is. Plus, she knew that today was Hufflepuff's day to practice. And she didn't want to deal with them and their selfishness of taking over the whole entire field.
Instead, Bella decided to walk around the Hogwarts castle. She hadn't done something like that in such a long time that it was definitely winning her side of things to do. She walked around the first level, second level, third, fourth and finally on the fifth level when she was beginning to get tired. The school was huge! She never thought that anyone could be able to walk the entire school in just one day.
She decided to take a small break and leaned back on a wall behind her. She looked around and realized that no one was really here except for one person that she found slightly familiar. It was Ruh. She knew him not only because he was a Slytherin, but because they were the same year. "Hey Ruh! What are you doing up here?" she asked, slightly curious.

Ebron caught a small passage tucked away out of the corner of his eye; piquing his interest, he slowed to take a better look when someone called out his name. "Merlin's teeth," Ebron muttered, gritting slightly as his heart raced in his ears, he tensed while looking around for the source of the voice which jolted him from his revere. Relaxing, then stiffening slightly again, he saw another Slytherin, leaning by one of the windows over looking the lake. She was a first year like him self, a slight girl, her brown hair curled around her shoulder as she looked up curiously at Ebron. Ruh she called him, he smiled. It was better than Leonard.
"Hello there Chimere," he said, a teasing smile curled on his lips in reply for being called by his last name. He had never formally met her, maybe a brief introduction when they were sorted and sat for the first time in the Great Hall. He hadn't really spoke to her either, but saw her plenty of times in the Slytherin dormitory and class. He shrugged casually at her question, enjoying the movement the stiff suits he'd worn at home wouldn't have allow him. "Exploring," he said easily, before frowning slightly at the childishness of the word, blushing lightly before clearing his throat, "You know, I don't want to get lost while trying to find my class, it'd be a riot once the other students find out." He frowned again, sighing at how stupid that probably sounded too.
Gesturing with a frustrated wave, his green eyes unfocused and fell outside before he quickly glanced apologetically at Chimere, "Sorry, I don't usually blubber around like that." He raised an eyebrow, "Now you. What are you doing up here?"
