Please read this syllabus for it will let you know what is embedded into the classroom. You will be given rules, a grading system and a lesson plan on what to look forward to throughout the term.
Result of breaking any of these rules, will cause you to be removed from the lesson for that day as well as lose points within your participation grade. If your rule breaking is extreme, you will lose out on being in COMC for the remainder of the term.
Just like every class, grading counts on participation. The more you participate in a lesson, the more you will receive an 'Outstanding'. In order to keep yourself at an 'O', post at least five posts within each lesson. There will be enough chances to get that many posts in, and possibly even more.
Extra credit is given throughout the term. Look out for them!
This term, we will be focusing on the Magical Creatures Throughout Britain.
Lesson plans can change due to creatures not being able to be found or sent on time.
RULES
- Respect your professor, classmates and creatures around you.
- Listen the first time- there may not be a second time.
- Be on time to class.
- Your belongings will not be needed- not even your wand.
- No fighting.
- Chatting is permitted, but not when the professor is speaking.
- Do not control the class. You don't know what you would put yourself into.
