From simple things such as splinching to big things such as a Death Eater brigade deciding it might be a ton of fun to destroy a national landmark, the busy men and women of this department work incessantly to make sure that all abuses of magic are accounted for and taken care of and that any hint or sign that has been given to the muggle community of the existence of magical people is put to rest.
